Berlin

Berlin is both the capital city of Germany and one of sixteen German states. The city is home to more than three million people from 180 different countries.
Twenty years after its post-Wall rebirth, Berlin is a city that has various faces. With more than 40 percent of the city's area covered with woods, parks and lakes Berlin prides itself as being one of the “greenest” capitals in Europe. If you are a fan of theaters, museums, galleries, opera houses and concert halls as well as an flourishing avantgarde scene, Berlin is the place to be.
With three universities, seven polytechnic colleges, four arts colleges, more than 60 non-university research institutions and about 140,000 of the cities inhabitants being students, Berlin boasts an impressive academic background . Nowadays, more than 50,000 men and women are employed in the cities science and research industry.
